EDUCATION / FAITH FORMATION

Conversion at Work
in the Thought of John Paul II
Dr. Deborah Savage

Adjunct Professor of Theology, University of St. Thomas Owner, The Triad Group, management consulting firm

Have you ever considered the relationship between your Catholic faith and your hope in eternal life – and the work that you do, whether at home or at the office? Does human work have anything to do with our wish for communion with God, both in the present moment and as our final end?

In his landmark 1981 encyclical, β€œOn Human Work,” Pope John Paul II gives a profound response to these questions. Join us for a reflection on the meaning of work in the Catholic tradition.

Monday, October 29, 2007 7:30 p.m. Owens Science Hall, 3M Auditorium University of St. Thomas (SW corner of Cretin and Summit Avenues in St. Paul)
